Beginning with the "Gordons Project" Coquitlam , B.C. On Nov.28 we are starting with our second project, to help women and children in need. New Westminster is our next area of focus. We will raise funds through 1) eBook Sales, 2) face to face - books sales 3) Events, 4 ) Donations, and 5) Sponsorships. We are committed to achieving our goals and looking forward to making a meaningful impact.
POVERTY
Poverty is the state of economic deprivation in which individuals or families lack the financial resources to meet their basic needs, such as food, shelter, clothing, healthcare, and education. Approximately 1 in 7 individuals in Canada live in poverty. Indigenous peoples, recent immigrants, and individuals with disabilities are disproportionately represented among those living in poverty. One in five children in Canada lives in poverty, with Indigenous children being overrepresented and providing financial assistance to individuals and families in need. Affordable housing and stable home. Access to nutritious food and reducing food insecurity. Quality healthcare and mental health services.
